Mr. Kuantai Yeh is a Partner at Qiming Venture Partners, focusing on investments in semiconductors, artificial intelligence, enterprise software, and consumer electronics. Kuantai has over 30 years of working experience in venture capital, investment banking, and high-tech companies.

Kuantai's portfolio includes Insta360 (SHSE:688775), Transwarp (SHSE:688031), Keysino (SZSE:300899), OKKI (acquired by Alibaba), Cool College (acquired by Beisen), Compart Systems (acquired by Fortune Precision), NASN Auto, XiaoE Tech, MeetFuture, Eigencomm, XSKY, Kingsware, TigerGraph, CIX Technology, Tongdun Technology, Tungee, Haylou (Liesheng), ZEGO, DH-Robotics, Makera, among others.

Kuantai holds two U.S. semiconductor technology patents. He has been recognized by the Forbes China Venture Capitalists 100 List in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.

Prior to joining Qiming, Kuantai served as Managing Director at Highland Capital Partners and Intel Capital China for nearly ten years. In Kuantai's portfolio, seven companies went public, whereas two were acquired by public companies. Kuantai's notable deals include Tuniu (NASDAQ:TOUR), 6.cn (acquired by SongCheng Entertainment), Gamewave (acquired by Qihoo360), Actions Semi (NASDAQ:ACTS), Montage Technology (SHSE:688008), VeriSilicon (SHSE:688521), Parade Technology (GTSM:4966), Chipsbank Technology (NEEQ:830845), Winking Entertainment (WKS.SI) and Yeepay.

Kuantai was a Vice President at Credit Suisse, responsible for the Asia Technology Investment Banking business. Kuantai began his career at Cypress Semiconductors based in the Silicon Valley where he was an R&D Manager and a Wafer Fab Engineering Manager.

Kuantai holds an MBA degree, a MENG degree in Electrical Engineering, and a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Materials Science, all from Cornell University.
